Hi, I'm thinking of joining SPF as an SO after my uni. (I'm a female, if that matters)
But there's a few things I would like to ask the experienced ones.
How tough is the 9 months training?
Cause I'm not very hardcore when it comes to fitness. I'm on the heavier side, but I run/swim almost everyday. I'm those type take 32 mins just to run 5km.
So I'm not sure if they would even take me. or even if they do, will I survive? D:
What they make you do inside for 9 months? Is it hardcore like army or what?
hehe thanks (:
ask the mama boy Darkness_Hacker99. He can answer your question.Just private message him.
what is this?
5km for 32 mins should be fine,as long as can reach 12:20 for your 2.4km can already.I think female officers' 2.4 standard is capped at the same level as the males, but do correct me if I am wrong.
But it is not a bad choice for everyone to sign on with the uniformed services (unless suddenly there is no crime and terrorism, in which people become saints, haha) and the number of females serving in SPF and SAF has increased sharply, and of course, the number of pretty officers are also stable, hohoho. But I am wondering when will there be a female Parade Commander for NDP and female leading the whole service.I think the highest ranking officers are Assistant Commissioner (AC) Zuraidah binte Abdullah, Commander TRACOM, AC Florence Chua, Commander J Division and AC Ng Guat Ting, Director Public Affairs Department.
