If one wants to move out at the age of 21, is it illegal?
If parents were to make police report - missing persons report but if the person comes back monthly to pay parents allowance. Would it be a criminal case?
Any age also can wad, below 16 ask to be placed in a welfare home.
16 and above I guess you are free to move as you like.
But you got the money to survive out there?
So there is no legal issues at all?
Because when parents makes missing person report, all police will be stationed to search for the person. When the person returns, the report would be pointless?
As for money, i suppose it can be earned.
below 18 police will haul you back to your parents place if your parents ask them to. i think 21 is safe lah.
first and foremost pls get a job, and where do u plan to stay? who do you plan to stay with?
21 is safe?
Based on the Singapore Law, 21 is the legal age.. to rent and stuff like that.
After much Research, I found this article.
How to close this topic?
you can't
Why you want to secretly move out?
If your parents know where you stay, why will report missing?
If for whatever reasons you can't tell them where you live, tell them when you will be back, then they won't report you missing lah...save the police trouble okay? They got more important things to do.
By the way, wherever you move to, you are to register your new address in NRIC. Failure to do so is a criminal offence.
If anyone report you missing, police will check the records, bring up your address and visit you there to check if you are really missing.
By the way...you sound really childish. Time to grow up....
