Local Merit Scholarship.

  Hi I am currently serving my NS in the Army and I have great passion to join the SPF. Unfortunately after asking many, they all said that I cannot sign on as I am not allowed to cross over from SAF to SPF. Is this true? I currently have a local uni placing and would like to sign up for the Local Merit Scholarship(LMS) offered by SPF. The scholarship is actually under PSC and I am not sure if my average results would allow me to get it. Even if it does, will they accept me since I still have 1 year plus to go before I ORD.

  No and difficult.SAF and SPF had too many officers, not enough men. Annual canaditures had more than enough to take up the SPF local merit. SAF local merit is easier to get but aslo difficult now. 

  If you wan to sign on as men, confirm can get.
