What can SPF do for protection against loan shark

I made police protection against loan shark. To my surprise they haunt my neighbors too. They threaten my neighbors if I never call them they will harm them too. I call 999 to make reports. Same goes with all my neighbors.i rush to npc pertaining follow up. They say they will do regular patrol . Surprising I on red alert from 1 am to 6am I never see any patrol cars or police men patroling. fear safety for my family as well to my neighbors . What will the police do. They not serious on protecting the citizen.i declare all their numbers and even the io uncountable .when something real happen then they take action. What kind of drama. They are not serious on catching loan shark. What is crime prevention mean? My doubts is they let the crime happen then they prevent it?
The police told me the patrol my unit to see any suspicious people loitering . I check every 30mins there no police patroling my units. I'm now on stand 2 (military alert) only arm with my mobile phone. Hope to find how to resolve this fear. ;(

They crime alert and do nothing. No point to have police where they sit on it. Illegal loan shark is high. They should do something to protect the citizen. No point having national police centre when you can't seek protection. Even the project x ah long is just for drama. I did call and told me call the IO. Till now the io sleeping. Even my neighbors scared about the treat. call 999 still they just relax. Went down to npc show them the treat SMS. They just say we will do frequent patrol in the area. People life in danger until 1 is dead then they start to investigate. Funny system.

In most loan shark harrasment cases, the complainant denies patronising illegal money lenders.
So the police just show poker face.

install a CCTV at your flat and then hand over the video to the police to make arrests.
make sure your CCTV is not prominent to the loanshark as they will damage it when they see it at your flat.

the truth is....there're only so many policemen in Singapore.
They have other reports/other patrol to do. Just because you don't see them, doesn't mean they don't care.
They are already filled with stuff to do....unless you can give them concrete information and help them to help you also...

Will gamblers borrow from unlicensed money lenders if it is an offence to do so under Singapore law? Will you borrow from unlicensed money lenders if it is an offence to do so in Singapore? Will you seek help from Police if it is an offence to borrow from unlicensed money lender? Will your family members report to Police if they know it is an offfence to borrow from unlicensed money lenders?

actually the truth is, if the loanshark never do anything to you 1st, the police wont do anything.

You have a lot of confidence in our police force. A hong kong visitor once asked if we have police in this country. He said he was surprised not to see any police patrolling the streets. I wonder too. -
ha ha, and many times it is stated in this forum, that Singapore is a police state.
