Hi brothers and sisters,
I'm currently trying to apply for a job which requires me to answer this question below:
Do you have a criminal record in Singapore?
By this, we refer only to a criminal record of a conviction under the Registration of Criminals Act.
I'm stucked because i have received a notice of warning for a rioting case a few months back. I have not been charged in court before. I did heard from some people that some serious case, you never go court also have criminal record. And also if they issue warning to me, does it mean i have been convicted or? So do i have a criminal record? Can anyone kindly advise. Thanks a million in advance.
Nope. A warning letter is not a criminal record.
Nope.
Do
Only singapore have this kind of stupid laws. A total police state. If you were protesting against the gahmen then you kenna rioting charge? What did you do?
Get warning letter only. No big deal. You did not commit any crime.
Even if you did. There is nothing wrong with protesting your rights.
