Just watched confession of crime just now at 10pm.
It is a true story and shows the guy being tortured when get questioned by CID.
CID take off his clothes, pour water on him and than put him in a air con room. They did this for 20 days.
Do you think this is true?
I thought this constitutues to abuse of authority by police and the police officers who did this can get charged and lose their job?
This story happened in the 1980s.
Or is it in the 1980s the law is still very lenenint towards police officers who abuse authority?
this is torture
sounds like the norm, whether this country or elsewhere.
i've heard worse.
I think nobody lodge a case against these police officers or else they will get charged liao
trust nobody including even the police. i dun trust them for sure.
i always shudder at the thought of some people around me who naively believe they are protected by the police. anything also think police can help.
The police to me are a bunch of people in blue who are looking for evidence to close the case. They are not your friends but people doing their job. If you say something wrong even when you think you're right, that's evidence against you.
