Anyway chloerachel, do you know when is ur panel interview? And how tall are you exactly? I have a friend shorter than 155cm and have a bmi of ard 17-18 wanting to join as well. Haha. mxc, nope never see anything. They just sat down there and asked qn and taking notes.

My status is still shortlisted. But I heard that people who went for same dialogue as me already got call from psychologist. :/
Anyway, I didnt get interviewed by AD, only 2 manpower officers.

hey, i applied for PO. I went for the selection assesment friday, 13 sep 2012 right after my ORD date. until now, i didnt know any of the result. anyone out there have clues? what i should expect after this?

Hey mlydude. I am not sure of the selection assessment for PO but i believe that your next round should be an interview session. Normally they take about 2 to 3 weeks to process the selection assessment. This is also subjected to a interview session being organised in the near future or you might have to wait even longer for it. After about 3 weeks, do give recruitment a call if you haven't heard anything

Hey anyone knows roughly how long does it take after panel interview for the vital medical letter to come? Given that the career@gov status still shows shortlisted after 2wks.

Thanks for the information.
I went for the selection assessment on thursday 13 sep 2012. I applied for Junior Police Offficer. That 1 day, I did all the test and panel interview. The next thing I know that I will receive a medical check up letter from them. Un til now, I didnt received it. My friend who who went to the selection assesment on friday got his medical check letter the on thursday( the week after the friday). Until now, I didnt received any medical check up lettter. I did not want to wait. Later, after 3 months of waiting, they responded by saying sorry , your application is unsucessful. demoralised isnt it?
I did apply for ICA specialist too have done my 1st and 2nd interview right after my police interview. didnt receive any news from them too.
Worse come to worse, I will join the SAF. any uniform services. haishhh.

Hi Chris_111, I went for the panel interview at end of march and received the letter for medical ard end April... I think the duration ranges from 2 weeks to a month...

Hi mlydude, ICA is not uniformed service per se :) you can consider scdf, prisons or cnb... Good luck!

Hi Ffangchee, They informed me that I was accepted over the phone but I have not got the official offer letter yet... :(

my careers@gov portal for SPF show that im unsucessful. waste my money to go and photocopy all the documents and taxi fare. SCDF, SPS and CNB i cant, i underweight bro.

Hi Chloerachel, Just received a call from them just now... I'm to go for orientation on 31st oct n course will start 5th Nov, so it's more or less confirmed. They say Vital will contact me next week to tie up on offer letter and signing of bond.

Btker, when u had ur panel? Did they take ur blood? Haha. So a few weeks? I guess we will be squad mates if we clear the medical. yjkeh/lazyfatcat7 how long did u all wait between ur medical and unofficial/official confirmation? Lastly, lazyfatcat7 are u a guy or girl? Cos most of my friends who have to send photos are girls. Hahah.

Hi Chomeisen, Dun take my timing for reference, I took medical in may and one month later, got a call from recruitment saying I did not take my pregnancy test... So went back to Raffles again. Then everything was in limbo till sept :( Yes, I remembered the guys got their photos taken during some stages of interviews... Hahaha
