Hello everyone, anyone have any idea if height is a deciding factor for SPO? is there a min height for SPO? thanks in advance for any reply!
Eh i think they removed the height requirement le.. i am shorter than 157 eh. :p
Hi lazyfatcat7, thanks for the info! These info were not on the job description page, so I was pretty worried abt it. I'm a girl btw, but 2cm shy of the 1.57! :(
Hi Chloerachel, I'll be very happy if they remove it! Btw u are a SPO?
mxc, i m applying for spo now haha. passed a few rounds already and i have a friend who is shorter than me who got in to jpo. i am shorter than you btw HAHA.
Thanks for the info Chloerachel! All the best for your interviews! I hope I can get pass the selection assessment!
It's been a week since i met the psychologist... i havent got any phone call for the next interview.... how long did u guys wait?
Sad.... my application being rejected.... even no chance to go for the first assessment test. :(..
Can anyone give me some help as to what will happen during the dialogue session? Im going down next monday! (:
What are the kinds of questions that they'll typically ask?
Hi,
I know this is the SPO thread but I'd like to ask around, I'm a pre-enlistee, attended the Selection Assessment 3 weeks ago at Old Police Academy. Presuming I've cleared that phase, will my application be affected if I'm PARTIALLY colour blind? Attended my medical checkup at CMPB today, there were some numbers which I couldn't see in the black book with dotted colours which they told me to identify the numbers. It'd be a pity if my application to sign on under the MTE got rejected due to partial colour blindness presuming that I cleared the Selection Assessment..

Thanks for the prompt reply, will be calling up recruitment to clarify. Hopefully it won't affect my entry to the Force. :)
nice to drop into the forum after 3 years in the force. Hope to work with some of you soon! Just remember that during interview sessions to be urself and answer the questions honestly and candidly, dont wayang and give PR answers. Just relax and enjoy the dialogue like I did. =)
I think I did super badly for dialogue session :(
anyway guys, if pass selection assessment, but fail dialogue, can apply again anytime? or need to wait a year or something?
Mxc, what made you think that you did badly? I also thought i did badly but i passed it so dont think so much! :).
ok thanks for the encouragement chloerachel! I really hope im thinking too much!
oh ya, did anyone of u notice the interviewer pressing a green and red button thingy during the interview itself? was kinda distracted by that.
Green and red? I didn't notice though. Was too nervous to notice it. Mine was just asking me qn and they were taking down notes.
