  Hi Choimeisen It's ok if you don't have your transcript. The recruitment officers will just tell you to submit it when you have them. Anyway your pes status can be obtained from your ns portal. If you served in spf for ns, you have to ask your pns office for your pes status.

  Thanks for your help, I was from SPF, so I have to make a trip down to my Div for it. Anyway have u went for the assessment alr? I would say it is tough for me. Especially the VRT part of the psychometric test. If you went through for it alr, how do u find it?

  Hi Chomeisen, I thought it was ok. I did a similar test before so I was more or less expecting something like that. Anyway it's actually ok if you cannot finish the test. I think its more crucial that you get more questions correct. That said, you should have done a majority of the questions.

  @ SYHL@SG, I dont think I can tell you much on it. Except that it is a long process with many questions to answer. So probably the best advice I can give you is to have enough rest the day before you go for it :) 
  
  @yjkeh I got through to the next round to have a dialogue session with AD :) I still thought I will fare badly for the psychometric test, was really happy to know that I got through. Anyway how long will the whole dialogue session take? And it will be a one to one session?

  Well done choimeisen! Haha the interview is at most 2 to 1 with the AD manpower and another manpower officer. Mine was done with the manpower officer only cos the AD was in a meeting. The actual interview should last only half an hour. The questions for me were focused on my motivations for joining the police, the courses i did and also my experiences. So you can take some time to reflect on them before you attend the interview.

  Hi yjkeh, seems like you have lots of knowledge and experiences in th SO recruitment ya! So which stage have you completed? Or you have been appointed as SO? :) .. May I know that usually where is the test will held?

  yjkeh, I've cleared the interview and is scheduled for a psychologist meeting next week. Anyway, they did not send me any email, just a call. Is it the same for you?

  Hey SYHL, I have finished my panel interview and just got my letter to do the medical checkup. Hi Chomeisen,, they also gave me a call only for the psychologist interview. Just go there with an open mind and discuss about yourself openly and you will be fine

  Congrats! U are at the last stage alr. They will snail mail u the info about the medical checkup? Anyways, as for the panel, who interviewed u? The new director mpd, ad manpower and?

  Hihi, yup they snail mail the letter. I just received it. The people who interviewed me were the previous director mpd, director sird, commander ang mo kio, 2 manpower officers and 2 pyschologists.

  Wow. thats like alot of them. Commander "F" go all the way down to interview? u were formerly a PNSF? If you are, were u from "F" div? It must have been a stressful interview. Haha, so many people.
  
  Btw does anyone know if the 5% increment to SPO (as mentioned by Mr Iswaran) applies to entry level SPO? I've forgotten to ask  the MPD. So did any of u all asked?

  Haha nope. I was a NSI from 'A' div. The questions were mainly revolving around what the challanges the force will face, how they can improve etc. very internal kind of questions for me i feel. I didn't ask about the pay raise but i guess it should apply as it was announced that it would apply to lower ranks of the senior officers.

  Oh, I was from A div as well. Haha when did u ORD? haha, i had the exact questions during my dialogue session actually. How long did the interview last? Haha, my friend emailed them like a on thursday regarding the pay and they gave him a very strange reply by telling him "the pay raise only applies to existing officers", which i dont understand. Haha.

  Haha i ord in 2008. My interview for the dialogue lasted about 45 mins i think. I guess it means only officers in the force now gets the pay raise although it doesn't make sense since officers who join before the july deadline gets it too

  Hello! So after reading through the posts, the time for them to call you down for interview is about 1month? Previously I applied for ICA but got rejected. Anyone if SPF and ICA is linked? I hope I can get this job. Been aiming to join SPF before I even graduated :P I applied on 18 July, now my status is in process. Anyone applied around same time as me?

  Hey there Chloerachel The interval between stages shouldn't be more than a month, normally 2 to 3 weeks. I believed the application process between ICA and SPF are seperate though they might share the same physchometric assessment results since i remembered that they asked if we had done any such assessment in the past year.

  yjkeh: I was from 'A' div as well! And ORD-ed the same yr as you. Maybe I've seen u before. Haha. Anyways, any idea if we have any sign on bonus. I know in the past there is 4-4.5k, not sure about now. And do we have nights out on wednesday if we go hta. 
  
  Chloerachel: I applied on the 6th June, got a notice of the selection test on 21 Jun and the appoint was on the 27 June. After which got a dialogue session ard 2 weeks later. Went for my psychologist test a few days back, now waiting for panel interview. All in all, I finished 3 stages in 1.5 months. So you can roughly gauge the waiting time.

  Hello Chloerachel, the physical assessment is an indoor assessment whereby they ask u to do simple "stretching", squatting, and marching. Nth much "physical". No need to bring sports shoes as well. It will take the whole day though. And get more rest the day before because the psychometric test can be quite taxing.

  Thanks for the reply! Btw is there any possibility that an interview will be held on the very day? Because I read else where and some say they go through interview that day too? My friend who is a jo now say I might be interview that day? Anyone knows?

  Hi, doubt so. Different venues. The selection test itself will take the whole day at Old PA. The interview itself is done by AD Manpower at NPP. I doubt she will be at Old PA to wait for you. I think the selection process for JO and SO is different.
