To those who went for their S.A, how many days after that, did you receive email for the next stage(interview).
To those rejected after the S.A, how many days after that, did you receive email saying you r unsuccessful?

Thanks!anyway I went for my SA on 8th aug, and my dialogue which is second interview is on 24th aug. there is really no fix duration. It all depends. Anyway, waiting is only thing you can do and have to get used to it. Haha. Is a long wait for the whole process.think if by 3rd week, your status in career@gov is still shortlisted,i believe u r not rejected, just wait for them to email you to tell you on your date of dialogue. Wish u good luck!:)

how long after the medical do we have to wait? it's been 3 weeks since medical.. waiting's really the toughest part of the whole recruitment process.. haha.

hey, my spo rejection email came first. Then i applied for JO, and that too became unsuccesful in two days. Ive no idea why, except for d fact, im overweight. Guess, there is no shortcut but to lose weight & try again in 6 mnths.. : ( Been passing by HTA and its like a dream that is so near yet so far... feel like crying :( :( :(

This might sound cruel, but if you got rejected at the S.A. stage, then it could just be that you were deemed unsuitable at this point in time after taking the S.A. test. Grades aren't everything, if not why would there be a range of salaries from Merit degrees to 1:1? And you would have indicated your height and weight in the initial application submission, so if they wanted they would have rejected you there, instead of spending time and manpower processing your application to the next stage. I've had friends who were overweight who got into SPF.
That said, use the six months to lose the weight (you'll also probably feel better and fitter), and try again (: there's no harm in that if this is what you really want.

been reading this thread since i went for the SA on the 19dec.
i've gotten the shortlisted status some time last week so how long do we need to wait for the next phase ? been checking my email regularly but no updates since.
thanks for sharing guys, definitely helping us newbies to be mentally prepared. -

there could be a whole variety of reasons that you were not shortlisted for the next round.. your results are unlikely to have anything to do with it; could be your psychometric tests, could be your physical assessment etc.
you should be able to apply again in a few mths, so in these few mths try to work on your physical fitness? since that's probably the only factor that you can control. all the best for your next attempt! :)

ya guess many other reasons to fail... im not gonna give up :) d more i see police cars on d roads d more motivated im to try harder next time... well... will try to apply again in 6 mnths.. though 6mnths gonna feel like 6 yrs as time crawls... :(
