  lazyfatcat7, I thought the blood test covers all that is needed? :o But anyway since now you are selected definitely, you should ask the recruitment person why do they need our photos for. So odd and random. Look through forums, no one mentioned about it before anyway.

  hey Chomeisen, I had my panel on Aug 22nd. :)

  And nope, they didnt not take my blood. Just finger prick for blood sugar..

   Hope that we clear medical and they contact us soon :D

  Lazyfatcat7, I did not take any photo leh! haha. And urs is like a super looooong wait! Btker, I also went on the 22nd Aug. So I guess we have met each other before. Anyways! I need to take blood! I guess blood test is random and arghh I am the unlucky one! But i did not get pricked for blood sugar though.

  I guess they took the pictures probably cuz u don't resemble the passport size photo ypu have submitted? Hey BtKer and Chomeisen, I went for medical on 25th too! I got both pricked and blood test...

  Hahaha... I think recruitment side sick of hearing my voice... Lol. Will ask if i do bump into them :) One month since medical! I hope all of you can make it for the nov intake :)

  hello all.

   

  SPF rejected me last monday. After the body check up at Old Police Academy, I  was wondering why they took shot of myself clad in formal attire? I was the only candidate that kena. No medical check up letter.

  today, ICA accepted me as a ICA specialist. will go and sign the bond  3 Oct 2012 wednesday, starts on 29 oct 2012. 2 months stay out training. do anyone know where is vital.org and will i go for medical check up?

  Hi choimeisen, i thin i waited 3 weeks for my medical form to come. Then they called me about 3 weeks after my medical to offer me the position. I signed the contract only about 2 weeks before the intake date

  Thanks yjkeh. So hows life in HTA? do u all have nights out on wednesday? Anyway, i had my medical on 25th Sept so I guess if everything is alright i'll be in time for the Nov intake. Anyway, they need 2 sureties for the bond? How much time will they let you find the sureties?

  Hi chomeisen, just have to start getting used to waiting up at 5.30am and sleeping at 10.30pm and you will be fine. Anyway, what i heard is that next intake should be in mid oct. but i guess its still subjected to changes since you got the news that its in nov. anyway, the 2 sureties is a must, so you can start finding now.

  Rank and file are police officers who are promoted to inspectors and thus go through c course. Direct entries are people who are fresh entrants

  Recruitment should be calling you to inform you that they will be making an offer to you. Subsequently, someone from Vital will email and call you to make an appointment to sign the training deed.

  Vital only calls at most 2-1 week before your intake date. Currently, I think the next intake date is in the middle of October while the one after that should be somewhere at the beginning of november. So those coming at the mid october should be signing their deeds soon.
