Ambition

  I am Still studying in sec sch. It have been my dream to be a police officer. I am good in my studies. But i dont like studying. I just want to be a police officer to protect the citizen of singapore, so they can sleep peacefully at night. will it be better if i join as junior or senior police officer in future? should i apply for HOME award?

  senior police officer... anyway, there are tons of different careers in every country. your ambition might change as you grow old. yes...as you grow old...weak....meek... affected by tons of responsibilities as an adult...your ambition will change

  Get a degree first.

   

  Then you can become Inspector.

  there are many ways to help the poor and needy...not just being police officers....

  even if that dream didn't realise....u could still do good works whoever u r....

  What type of police you want to be?

  Sit in neighbourhood police post file report, go hawker centre buy food, sometimes walk here walk there see see look?

  or

  Sit in office handle all the referred case, organizing your team to crack the case?

  not good in studies, no covert things for you. 

  Good in studies, be prepared to.......erm, crack a case.

  But if i want to be a senior officer i need to study 4 year of uni and i hate studying although i can study. and i also do not know what courses to study. should i join as junior then apply for Part time scholarship and study in SIMuni (management and security study)? Studying a course that will help in my job may motivate me to continue my study. to study management and security study i need to be a police first

  Really depends on what you want.

  But if i were you, i will study for 4 years 1st then apply.

  Just in case i got rejected, at least i can work at other places.

  But if you really really want to be police, signing on as junior has more chances of being accepted than signing on as Senior.
