  It is not the police presence that will help to control these areas. But why is the place being planned to be a red light district? I understand that there are bound to be vices in Singapore, They call us to "close one eye" but at the expense of our neighborhood. In order to clean up the place, first we must force authorities to make good plans for the area. Government should do more.

  if u are the condo-dwellers there,  u chose to be in such a neighbourhood so u must understand
  if not, u can always move to the sail or sentosa cove ya noe

  if they are force out of geylang they might move into HDB area like Bishan / Yishun / jurong / queentown and yr estate.

  yes, it's better for them to be in one area

  but then, does not mean heartlands no such problem

  there are still some of them trying their luck at kopitiams

  i think we should upgrade the brothels to make it more clean and sophisticated...and professional.....come on...respect the world's oldest profession
