SPF or Other Uniform Group?

Hi all!!
i need some suggestions from all of u guys!
i still studying nursing in NYP
doing my last year of diploma
i am thinking to sign up for SPF
but i don noe its a good idea anot..
plus i heard u hv to go through interviews with them
they then will decide to take u,
i come from a low income family so i hope to get a job with at least 1.9-2k (which i saw at the website Spf offer poly graduate 1.958k)
so i hope to get some suggestions from u guys what should i do?
sign on with the SPF?
or other uniform group such as Navy, Army, Civil Defence..
which is better? as in working life and salary...
for ur info i donwan to be a nurse.. ( so confirm not staying in healthcare setting )
i took up nursing is partly because i saw spf willing to offer higher pay for poly graduate!

You finish your NS 1st then go sign on

but i suppose if i sign bond with them (which is 5years) i don have to go through Ns i will be trained under SPF and this 5 years will be regarded as ns isit?

WHATEVER YOU DO..............DON'T EVER JOIN THE POLICE F(A)RCE.........
the police is the MOST FUCKED-UP organization in S'pore................with the least benefits...................
if you're not afraid of hardship then join the SAF................PAP is most willing to splash the cash on SAF................
### only join the police if you're a LAZY FARK.............

yes if you sign on before your NS,your NS will be police. after that you are a regular and your pay will be 1.95k.
you serve NS first. after that then sign on, your pay will be 2.18k

hmm u got a good point on the "bullshit to myself" part, but it seems like not much things are positive to u..haha. well whatever your reasons are, i respect them.
and the police part, i think it comes down to the individuals who signed up...different people prefer/enjoy different kind of jobs, so i think it's not fair to say that joining the police would be a totally regrettable decision.
maybe the malays and indians are the ones who prefer to be law enforcers and they dont see the job as demoralizing and pointless? -
If u willing to suffer abit physically go SAF. willing to suffer mentally go SPF.
nid $$ go SAF. see the annual defence budget compare to home team 1...

the saf has high starting pay, and with the navy sailing allowance, monthly salary can be quite considerable
