The government is looking for money issit. I being summoned with SGD 70 for what unauthorised U-turn. Sorry that. I cursed the whole Singapore Traffic police for doing that. No signal or what. Just one letter expect u to pay. Den they all still threaten us if din pay will make us appear in court and summon for 1k or jail.

If you dare to do a unauthroised U-turn, be prepare for the consequences. So don't blame anyone but just yourself. If you have the money to pay for your car, please, also have the money to pay those summons. If not take public transport. No offense.

Wah so suay... LOL... i do admit sometimes people do illegal u turns at places where there are not many cars... and when they are lost in some ulu ulu parts...
Anyway, Vivocity is a trap.... the pillars before the legal u turn makes it extremely hard for the driver to see.... and there is one illegal one before the legal one... tata... and the TP seems to like to target that spot.... -
it's obvious dun go do illegal u turn at hotspots.
The rule is there for safety reasons.

The Vivocity u turn is a trap.. cos there is one before that is illegal.. the second one is legal... so car owners usually end up u turning.... only to realise they went to the wrong one...

Imagine you make a u - turn to realise cars are turning left from Sentosa to Telok Blangah Rd (Henderson Rd)?

Seriously I do realise Singaporeans aren't familiar with road conditions after all.
1) The slip road at Clementi Ave 6 to AYE (City). Yes road is very wide, but it's only 1 lane (for buses and trailers to turn easier).
2) Handling turning heavy vehicles i.e. trailers or buses exiting bus stops. Ppl slow down also behind car flash headlight or horn.
