O levels

  Just enquiring, i've just left my polytechnic and am waiting for NS now. If i apply for a career at SPF, what are the chances of me going to do my polytechnic studies after NS? And what happens then?

  U need to serve 5 years with SPF in order to clear ur NS liability...after 5 years...U might not want to stay on or U might not want to study.

  Why do U want to sign on with SPF?How are your O level grades?

  U might want to just clear NS without signing on under SAF(unless U are that lucky to get thrown to SPF after BMT)...2 years...then go back to poly...U left without graduating....means all polys will not take U back in unless U cleared NS.

  Thanks for the reply! My O level grades are on the Average L1B4 side. You mention clearing NS, that means, after ORD right? Guess i'll sign on after poly then. Which is also in 5 years. :S

  yes....U need to show in your poly application that U have served NS(or at least still serving and is able to ORD in time to start school)

   

  Side-tracking a little...why did U leave poly?If its an interest issue...note that U are no longer eligible to apply under JAE...where most of the places get taken up.U apply under DAE...and U might have a situation where U cannot get into a course although ur grades makes U well-qualified for it.

   

  the good news is U have 2 years to think about ur options.
