Plan to sign on as police

  There are some question I had about signing on as police, please help. 1) is there an requirement for signing on as police? 2) can I choose to sign on as police while in ns(if I was in other unti instead of police, I've yet to serve ns)? 3) if I pursue a degree, would raising my rank easier? Is there any specific degree that the police recognise? 4) I had martial art background, would that help? Thanks in advance for the help

  definitely. Minimum requirement for a policeman is ITE. If you study further, the more $$ you earn lo.

  you can request to be absorbed into regular service.... IPPT is very impt for that.

  1) you must be gutless (to avoid complaints)...............brainless (to avoid getting into trouble)..............spineless (to please your superiors)................must be a great actor (also called working smart, not hard)..................must be good at pushing blame to others.................

  3) in police for life, only graduates got future..................no specific degree needed, the police is a garbage can..............people with good degree will join SAF, far far better future...............

  4) got martial art background no use..............police only want people that can write very good reports and at paperwork..................

   

  my advice, if you got degree and not afraid of hard work.............go join SAF............

  I'm still waiting for the NS letter, but just wondering whether to join the police or not.

  if you saved S'pore and LKY yesterday.............you're a hero.............but if tomorrow, you screwed up or your subordinate screwed up..................the police will leave you out to dry...............
