What new Land Rover is this?

  I have seen a number of these circling Singapore roads the past weeks,

  they are always in pairs, and driving slowly. Some of them still carry the "New Car" blue plates...

  are these brought in in time for the APEC summit?

  Looks more like Armoured Rovers to me.My guess is that the Gurkhas are using them.

  not sure.. the people i seen in them are Khaki Berets (not hats).. i dunno what that means in SPF terms..

  Yup, khaki berets are Gurkhas. They wear berets when they are "off-duty" ...

  dun see how they are armoured. the box might be armoured but ain't it point less if the cabin isn't?

  have seen gurkha heads pop out from the box behind, looking fierce. and always in town.
