Encounter With A Policeman

Recently a policeman ask me to go down to the police station for an investigation. And omg, he is a real dumb policeman. I will list down all the stupid questions that he asked me.
He: You stay at this place?
Me: Yes
He: Did you make any police report before?
Me: Hmm. I think so.
He: Tell me did you do this?
Me: No
He: Be honest with me. I as a police have the power to check your background.
Me: If you don't believe than go and check lor.
He: Don't worry I have the ability to check it out
He: Tell me more about yourself.
Me: What? Why you ask this type of question? This interview is for me to assist you in this case and not a job interview ok.
He: I am asking because I want to know more about you and your background. I will like to remind you that I am able to check your background even if you don't tell me.
Me: Than go and check lah. Why waste time here asking me?
He: Will you be willing to go for a lie detector test?
Me: Is it now?
He: No. Have to arrange another day.
Me: No. You think I eat finish nothing to do always come down to your police station ah.
He: The police do not have the authority to make you go for a lie detector test. But I can tell the judge to order you to go for a lie detector test.
Me: Than go and tell the judge lor.
At the end of the interview,
Me: Why you ask me whether I got make police report before?
He: You once make a police report that you lost your NRIC.
Me: What has this got to do with this case?
He: Nothing. It is just part and parcel of the questioning tactics.

Me: i want to ask you 1 last question before I leave
He: Ok.
Me: You policemen is it recently caught Mas Selamat already than now eat finish already got nothing to do come and investigate on this type of stupid cases?
He: This is a serious case for your info.
Me: Serious case you will still call me to fix an appointment for me to come down to the police station to meet you? If its a serious case, you will have got a arrest warrant and go to my house to find me already lah.
Me: Just admit that you policemen eat finish already nothing to do lah

fake sia, when police interview, they always do by pair, one friendly and one bastard but it is true that policeman can be quite stupid
once i was invited to assist in a rape investigation, i have nothing but praise for the friendly policeman but the bastard one was an ass/drunk. i can hardly understand what he was trying to say, so emotional like the rape victim is his mother, spewing his saliva all over the place when he try to talk

Wrong.
I have went down to police station a few times to assist in investigation and it is always 1 policeman questioning me only.
But this is the first time I encountered such a stupid policeman

He: The police do not have the authority to make you go for a lie detector test. But I can tell the judge to order you to go for a lie detector test.
Me: Than go and tell the judge lor. I am willing to co-operate if you respect my right also.

I am not afraid as I have a cop friend who told me that this is a small case. It is a non chargeable case so I already know that there is nothing he can do to me that is why I can be so siao zhang

I believe the cop is either a newbie or poor communicator. Anyway from the questions, I can see he is just doing his job, though poorly. But he did not do any personal attacks or negative assumption on u.
Not sure what u say is recorded in police statement else if the case turn against you, you may be in deeper trouble. I dun think the judge or whoever is going to think favourable of what you have said.
