ok so i went for my spo panel interview last thurs, screwed it up pretty badly but they told me told go for my medical. i went on the same day and now im just rotting and waiting. anyone else who went for the medical got an answer yet? and anyone know the next intake for HTA for spo training? thanks!
I also went for the panel interview last thursday and sucked big time. they told me to go for the medical as well. went for the medical this week so wont get any reply soon. I think I am highly likely to be rejected.
If you are likely to be rejected, why would they send u for the medical in the first place. doubt so.
Was too frank in the interview and told them "Sorry, I dunno much abt this" two on some questions they asked me. I heard from a former spo that going for medical may not necessarily mean you have passed the panel interview. They will review the interview after receiving the report.
Still in my final year of studies so that is probably another factor. Too many uncertainties make the waiting tough to bear.
Seeing this make me worry. I went for panel on 5 may. I did not receive any letter for medical checks. I was told to wait for reply.
i know how you feel kyze. but i don't think there's any 'right' answer. They'll know if you're trying to smoke your way through. If you don't know better say not sure. if they don't like it then we can just take it as us not being prepared. There's always a next time to apply if you're really serious about this job. Just make sure next time you're more well prepared lor! You've just graduated( assume) so no need to have the silly singaporean mentality of 'must have job straight after i graduate!' lol. But i agree the wait sucks. *cross fingers for both of us*

During my panel, i said something along the line of '...sir, with all due respect, i disagree, but i get your point, i tink the issue is a matter of different values n opinions...' and i still got through.

Yeah i get what you mean. Its just that the process is rather tedious and I will need to get quite a few days off from work if I am to reapply when I am working to attend the selection. This wont rest well with the current employers.
Hope the best for us. Will let you know when I get any letters, maybe in two weeks time. *pray hard*
