first... TS specifically say police, not hometeam...
next... police and scdf also have duty during national day, even though they are not organizing. they will also send people to do cover the events.
last.... if you strain the home team to the limit on national day period, and some guy decide to make trouble during this period, which happens alot because they know police man power is stretched because of national day, who will go settle?
p.s. if war happen to break out during that period, the armed forces on contingent on standby will engage and buy time, the armed forces organizing the event will be called back, and everyone will be mobilized.

SPF neither has the manpower nor the capability to handle such things lah. One pai kah terrorist already cannot look after properly, still want them to handle such a massive event like NDP...better not overstretch them anymore lah...wait they lose another high profile prisoner and the Army has to go in clean up the mess they made...

police go void deck catch smoker is because got people complain.... if no one complain the police where got time to go see? will have all kinds of people calling the police for this and that. neighbour too noisy lah, kids too noisy lah...
than there will be the vandalism and gambling people... have to ambush them, or else how to catch them?
if police is go park at multi-storey carpark relax, than why so many police want to resign? they quit because go carpark too relax, or too boring right?

Errr...dude. Soldiers involved in NDP still carry on with normal training...with NDP rehearsals occupying the weekends.

SPF have the manpower and capability... you think plan ambush and patrol route, and dealing with actual people easy ah? especially those young kids try to act pro and give problem, or the aunty anyhow want to complain.
thank you army for cleaning all the mess that SPF made. which is alot? give some examples of that. but no thank you, army personnel who go drink driving in your no. 4. have to call MP to coordinate your arrest some more.
can organize, but organize le, no one left to patrol the streets only..

sorry, spf and scdf work shifts, no have weekends. and have to cover each other duty if people got stuff, like training.
