the other time, i accompanied my mom to NPP make report.
i was standing at an angle where i can see his computer screen,
he told me in a rude manner to stand further away from his desk.
as if see the computer screen will cause security leak?
i wanted to write complain letter, but didn't.

Police are good. I mean, imagine a country without a police force.
Police are live human beings like us, they have to follow rules. I understand that by looking at their computer screen, people might think it's no big deal, but imagine what if his superior saw you looking onto their screen? you might just get the police into trouble!!!
Now you see? To you this matter is trivia, imagine if they let people to see their screen as on when the people like. What happens when one day some bad people really need those infomation to do something bad, we could be talking about security level of a nation here!!
But if you were to say about this pay thingy. Last time the Army pay high pay to personal that wanted to sign on, because at that time no one likes army life. but slowly as we move forward, they lower down the pay due to too many regulars. Maybe this affect our police force too?

I would reckon that the proportion of people who are interested to sign on as Specialist in SAF is much more than the proportion who wants to sign as Junior Officer in the SPF.
Imagine, a specialist (eg combat) only needs to chiong few days field, plenty opportunities to reprimand NSmen or their men, and do pt and pt and pt. While Junior Officers in the SPF will get to real life scenes like accident, fights, road blocks of which their lives are always at risks. And not to mention their numerous admin work after each case.. Worst still, these Junior Officers still face the popular trend of civilians complaining and demaning, and the Specialist in SAF definitely do not have to tahan these nonsense at all.

in Hong Kong their police risk life to catch triads
in Singapore our lazy police catch "ah Bengs"

Experienced public expecting police to do certain things, when in fact it's not the police business at all. Ca you imagine ppl complaining to police about ppl parking in HDB disabled lots, or upstairs neighbour's toilet floor leaking water into the house below? Better still, recently came back from reservist:
Complained that doctor never give certain medication when he visit doctor and called police to scene... Simply nonsense leh...
People make SPF become their avenues to seek solution for their problem when they cannot achieve things they demand for.
IMO, Singaporeans depend less on the police for security purpose fairly because security threat seems absent and so far-fetched from our daily lives.
One day, when something really goes wrong, Singaporeans will learn and start to appreciate the Men in Blue.
Hopefully, it will not be too late then. -

There are certainly great diff between Spore n HK police. The salary, the pressure, the danger they facing, the environmental factor, the living standard n last but not least ECA after wk.
Spore dun face gunman often, bt hk face gunman like machiam makan breakfast. Spore got the useless street corner gang tat only bully kechi n HK got triads tat kill police.
But Spore got lot of kapo n childish complaint ass bt HK MOP dun dare to complt.
But sincerely, if the government is not going to do anyting to the salary, in 10 yrs time, Spore is going to b patrol by Bangadeshi, PRC n Indian. While Sporean pursue their Great Spore Dream.

The Manpower Department is already undergoing plans of the possibility in recruiting foreigners.
Second-in-Command in Manpower Dept told us that with current levels of immigrants flowing in, there ought to be someone who understand their culture and able to relate with them. -

so now those reservices keep their police with them
this guy have been using this pass to get free sex by threatening those china postitude.
one of the victim i hear she was so scare then she say
" i will take any amount u paid to me"
guess how much he paid .........
