VSC Training

i think basic shooting is no problem for almost all sporean guys who have been thru NS.
If one have backpain problem but still ables to run, walk, jump or does shooting, is he or she still qualify for VSC?
can I ask how does the Honourary VSC scheme works? i mean how does someone knows that he or she is able to get into the Honourary VSC scheme instead of the normal VSC programme?
sorry for so many questions as wanted to know more before joining VSC. Its a long wait for entry and wnated to make sure that everything is ok before enrollment....

like that IPPT how to pass?...or VSC no need to pass IPPT one?

yes... you need to pass ippt.
and be able to do a forward roll and back break fall. this is part of the compulsory police defensive tactics

regarding IPPT... what are the few items VSC needs to clear? 2.4km, shutter run, pull-up, sit-up, standing board jump...
anything else?

its not easy shooting a revolver. i failed more than i passed. it took me something like 3-4 practise shoot before getting my marksman. and yeah. 1 year down the road now, i still have difficulty getting back my marksman. n yeah. ORD TML LE! WEEEE!!

u need to be Pes A or B to be eligible for the VSC scheme. so if u have a back injury, i believe u should not be Pes A or B.

i got Marksman before passing out. But on my ORD shoot, i failed 5 times before getting a 2nd class marksman. -
there is 3 gradings for pass, 2nd class, 1st class, and marksman

wat are the kind of questions they ask during interview?
the uniform during training....isit the white shirt and blue pants that trainee police wear?
do we have to march from point to pint? as in like bmt?

orientation is conducted at HTA (Home Team Academy). try to wear easy to walk stuffs, preferably pants, jeans & good walking shoes. Try not to bring too many barang barang on you so you can kinda report in and march with your new batchmates to a auditorium/classroom.
there should be some talk, a light buffet and then the swearing in.
You may also be issued the uniforms required for your traing period. So standby either a car or a huge bag to carry home those stuffs.
no way they will issue the uniforms and stuff straight, since the store will need to get their size and prepare for them
