hi
i left the force 2 years ago. does anyone know do i need to go through the interview and training again. thx
If I remember correctly...
Other than the usual admin stuff, You will need to retake your pyschometric test as the result only last for 3 years. The interview will be short, but nothing much to be worried about.
After all that is done, you will need to take a first aid course, pass your shooting and pass your IPPT. Showing them result of IPPT from last reservisit is fine too. You will retain your last held rank, and off you go to division, I think...
Did I miss anything?
thank you sir. what about the posting ? do i get to return to my previous unit ?
No problem!
As for posting, you can request to be posted to any unit.... But the very peaceful area probably don't need the man power...
Sensitive units definitely not an option for part time volunteers too.
DO email the VSC headquarters or call them for latest updates.

That will depend on whether your previous unit wants you back. Do contact the VSC Recruitment Unit with a fresh application and indicate that you are a ex VSC/Regular/PNS so they can then put your application thru another 2 officers that will be handling you.
thx mdm. but who are the two officers that will be handing me ? sounds like some VIP treatment...hehe... does that mean there is a different procedure from handing my case.
Yes, your processing is slightly different.
The Recruitment officers will do the normal screenings, arrange for you come to a new Interview, psychometric test & medical screening.
Then they will assign you to a new batch but you will not need to do the 9 months training with that batch.
You are mostly likely posted to divisions in 3 months after your swearing in.
