Hi,can i ask if SPF accepts degree holders with overseas degree?
I'm planning to enrol in the University of Ireland degree program with honours offered by APMI. is it true spf only accept degrees from NUS,NTU,SMU?
And if i join as PO,would i given the rank of SI? -
Not entirely. So long as the degree you have is accredited by the SG government, you should be fine. Degrees from any of the Commonewalth Nations are fine too. If you join as a PO [junior officer], you will start off as a sergeant. And then you will have to work your way up. -
Yah degrees from reputable private schools is ok....
For graduate positions, we accept degrees from all universities accredited by the home government of the country where the university is located. This applies to degrees obtained full-time or part-time, through distance-learning or twinning programmes, etc.

There's a senior officer in my department who graduated with a First Class Honours from SIM.
He's now a DSP (2)
