How to starch your uniforms

  I got away with not starching my uniforms because I am female.
  
  But I liked to know how to do it effectively with simple household corn starch.
  
  Please advise.

  if you starch the uniform it will change colour.

  Make spray starch for clothing -
  Mix one tablespoon Kingsford's Corn Starch and one pint cold water. Stir to dissolve the corn starch completely. Fill a spray bottle and use as you would any starch. Be sure to shake vigorously before each use.

  I use "Easy On - Spray Starch (With Lemon Scent)"
  
  The colour wont fade. Not bad
  
  Just spray before ironing; esp collars.

  I was thinking of totally soaking the clothe in a pail of water with the corn starch dissolved in it.
  
  I kinda remember orang lamas army boys doing that. Dont know whether any of you guys did it with the police uniforms.
  
  Army uniforms have different material texture then the police uniforms so I am not sure how it works.
  
  Those NPCCs, can advise instead?

  LOL. during my sec sch time i starch my uniform den it changed colour.. became lighter. i used the blue colour Kiwi can one
  
  i always tell my ginna now no need to starch 1 lah.
  if u iron power enough then the uniform will look good enough.
