but most probably when touch down is just to record his statement for trace whereabouts mah, and to ascertain the details which you described earlier lah. I don't think it will be too much of a hassle though. Just a short & sharp statement with the necessary details as you have described.Originally posted by ryanking:do all the necessary documentation that enables you to leave singapore on a permanent basis... if u wan to leave without telling them, option 1) u can lodge a police report with police force.. in the report saying that u leave home voluntary and u dun wish your parents to noe... u wan to put where u wan to go also can... track u down easier ma... so if they wan to go lodge a police report, hope that the officers have some sense to look through the database (that is wat i do whenever i encounter a missing person report) and your report will be churned out only viewable by them (they cannot give your parents due to OSA) and they will tell them that you leave sg voluntary end of story... option 2) even if u leave sg without that report... the officer in-charge will screen through immigration system and they will noe if u r still in singapore or not.. but u will still be "wanted" so when u touch down singapore u will not be in jail but to walk ard freely is abit troublesome as u will spend sometime with airport police settling some lose ends...

tot tis has relations with extradiction rights/law?Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Yes, your parents can report you missing. They cannot however insist that you be returned to the country if you did file the right form of papers and they were informed. You are afterall, above 21. (As you claimed).
The general public can request to track you down too if you contravene laws, abscon or have broken any contract and so on that you have entered in.
Judgment can be obtained against you, whether you are in Singapore or not.
And the courts can order a trace of your whereabouts to establish whether you are alive, dead and so on after a couple of years and list you dead and distribute your assets to your family members.
You still have work permit, residency, credit issues to work out even if you were to go off to China to work w/o informing your parents.
And for that matter, China takes very dim view of fellas who does not have the required visa, permissions and so on.
I believed she did say its counted.Originally posted by corebooster:NSF also counted ex-police officers hor??
