Was expecting it to be 6 months, as stated in the pamplets... So now the road to volunteering my service will take about 14 months, after I submit my application forms.
The road to becoming a VSC is very tedious, it is actually discouraging me from joining... But I will preservere. I hope there will be no further unpleasant surprises to discourage me...
The training is 9 months since Jun2004... there will be lot of surprises....If you don't have the time, better don't join, although 16hrs is a minimum for a month, but if you really only perform 16hrs-24hrs, you won't learn much.... I see a lot of vsc struggling for 16hrs...
