Question about police vehicle at NDP 2007 rehearsal

  anybody know what is the name of these vehicle? Is it use by STAR unit, Gurkha contingent or Riot Police?

  Should be star bah. Riot police is red colour then gurkha usually is e jeep. correct me if im wrong!

  Why does it need to have such high clearance off the ground? Surely they're not expecting landmines?
