sorry, missed out answering you after I sidetracked to the deflowering of some backsides. I love that baton......always attempting to better its function. Okies....Yes. VSC does ground patrols. Either with the regs or they have own team in one patrol car.
They do have to write log sheets, issue summons, attend to cases, write their 299s, update in pocket books (if any). Incident reports, write those errr forgot whats its called, the pre patrol plans (ie....goes what street, check what posts, check what outlets kinda stuffs). Remind me again what form is that please. I long time no patrol. -

at some divisions, VSCs involved in the plain clothes team brings their own equipments.
from personal handphones, walkie talkies, Maglite with safari holders to experimental cuffs & equipments otherwise not offered to the regular officers.
And because VSCs has a wider exposure in the working environment, they are usually a good source to recommend g/fs, jobs & contract work lobang from dentist, house renovations to what cologne you use that will attract the females.
