Lost Wallet...

My friend just lost her wallet yesterday at HER FRIEND HOUSE. they were having birthday party.. a group of ppl.. She had made a police report and suspended her credit card and atm card all this.. But i wanna know if, since it is lost in her friend's place.. one of the culprit must be one in the party. With all these info.. can police help trace back her wallet?

if she called the police and keep hold of all the people in the party.. is it possible to find out the culprit? anyway.. her wallet is not dropped.. its STOLEN! thief! and police heck care?

Of course you can pursue the matter. Party put on hold. But I do not think you can catch the culprit.
Police will ask, how do you know its stolen? Any suspect? Did you put it somewhere? Did you drop it on the way there? Did you ask anyone to hold it?
But rest assure, what can the police do? From where you think they can start? At most they can do is to question the people at place. -
mMhz.. she confirm she lost it in her place.. she some kinda sense of something bad is going to happen to her bag.. so she even keep looking in her bag once awhile.. she is not carrying her bag.. its left aside.. soon after sometimes when she go and check out her bag again.. her wallet lost.. it is obvious someone in the house steal it.. unless at that time got some outsider(robber) break into the house.. but this is impossible though.. haha.. if she was to call police at that point of time.. police sure can do something.. search around the house and those people in the party.. higher chance of finding it.. the wallet wont run away so fast.. if no one left the scene.. even if the culprit throw it out of the house... it should be lying some place outside the house.. unless everything is planned properly.. some ppl who is not in the party from the start is helping out the culprit.. if it is it.. then police should get into it even more..

they can apply for it as long as they have enough evidences.. and keep all of them in that scene. they just think this kind of small case is no need for them to spend so much time and energy.. and thats it.. more crimes all over singapore.. haha.
anyway.. its over.. i just wanna know what can police do.. what they do if this kind of case happen.. how good is police.. or so.. and do i have a need to be so upset when i cant get into police force.. hehe -
hmmm ...since she cancel all tracable card...Now the only hope is the thief sue her IC and get caught....

now everyone is everywhere, what to do? wana trace back dam tough leh. by now the wallet's long gone.

The correct term is Theft in Dwelling. similiar to Theft from person.
But she dont know who did.
and most likely didnt want to make a fuss at the birthday and only report the loss after the party rite? -
