at the checkpoints, ICA does everything for everybody...
but out of the checkpoints, the agencies have to look after their own responsibilities...
it's a thankless job.. now near chinese new year, AVA has decreed from the time of the Nipah Virus outbreak that no pork or pork products be allowed into Singapore...
people will still insist on bringing into Singapore (like Singapore don't have like that!!) and when ICA officers tell them to throw into a bin for disposal as biohazard, they get abused, threatened and more by the travellers..
same thing goes with chewing gum, and all the other things..
but outside the checkpoints, AVA, HSA, SPF and whatever do their enforcement...
