  hi, i'm once from RTC...becos of a rioting offence..but am i eligible to sign on for armed forces regardless of army or police etc etc? jus need to know cos curious..and i heard that ppl going into RTC is nt having a criminal offence...is it true? RTC--> Reformative Training Centre. thanks alot

  Rioting is a criminal offence, as such, you have already have a criminal record, don't even bother about joining the police.

  but that was like in my teenage times? afterall i've learnt my mistake n think maybe the uniformed forces have to consider the rehabiliation?

  It will depend on the recruitment officers on the selection criteria at the Army.
  
  Why not give it a try first by applying.
  
  If not successful, then you let us know so you can be called upon to advise when someone else post the same questions?

  for police if u got criminal record cannot , but for army depends on their recruitment side, why dont u check out the army's recruitment web for more info > http://www.mindef.gov.sg/arc/main.asp
