Horrible scratchy belt marks

You guys remember how much you have to lug on your belts?
After a full day of sweating and the beltmarks are transferred onto your waist?
Any recommendation to avoid that and the latter agony of wanting to scratch your reddish wet welts on your waist? -

Nope. Both belts still gives the same trouble.
Especially one time, when one side we hung the ultra heavy gas mask in the bag.
The belt was pulled to one side of our waist and it cause the same kind reddish welts after lugging it for too long.
Or when you sweat.....it still create the same kind reddish welts at the waist. -
maybe you wear it too tight?

No leh....I got big butts, they can easily let the belt sit on the waist without having the whole pair of pants including all the gears carried around dropped onto the ground when belt is too heavily hung.Originally posted by safetyleo:maybe you wear it too tight? -
I see, or could it be too loose, the edge of belt rubbing on your skin. By the way, I believe you should have worn a t-shirt under the uniform? So far, did not hear anyone i know of got this problem. Kitty, if you are allowed non-standard issue items, you can look into getting one of those new padded LE belts. Quite a world of difference. Otherwise, your only option is to mod the current belt you have.

Sorry I shot. No mods allowed on the standard police belt.
And here's something about belt. I was warn ealier not to check in my belts and holsters with my luggage. So I sent them IPSC belts by mail to the USA.
And then....as I was flying from Seattle to USA. My friend refuse to let me check in the belts in my luggage saying I might get stopped and questioned.
So now....I sort of gave up my belts to my friend.
Getting new ones back in SG! Yeah!!! Shopping!!!! -

I travelled back and forth between SE Asia and the US with holsters, belt, mag holders, etc and no one has ever said a thing while my bags were inspected. Once on a flight to Singapore, I missed my flight and got re-directed to China for a connection. If you wanna wear bels, you'll have to put up with this lor. If not seek other alternatives like draw-string pants or suspenders lor........

its like diaper rash, but its just sweat & bacteria from our hot and humid weather back in Singapore. -
