Police patrols "eat snake"?

I sympathise with such police officers, NSFs and reservists especially. Singapore is not exactly a hotbed of crime and their duties can get extremely dull and monotonous as one can imagine.
I am not one to complain anyway. My grandfather was a senior police officer, an Inspector I believe. But kena buang from civil service. Corrupted.
They do seem to love multi-storey carparks though. Sometimes there will be four or five patrol cars on the top floor. Want to sleep and slack also must do together.

It actually depends on the individual... corruption is temptation.... if u can control it fine.... Sometimes the job can be dull but still there is peace in SG.... so this will be maintained.... -
Well, a wise old retired police officer once told me.
"Joining the police force means having one foot already in jail."
He said that as a police officer, you receive many offers in exchange for favours. Such as perhaps warning a nightclub owner before conducting a raid in exchange for a drink or two, or the odd service offer from an illegal freelancing prostitute. It would require a man of great moral steele to resist such temptations, as they may see them as merely being criminal but trivial. Not everyone would be up to that.
I have respect for all police officers who have the willpower to resist such "favours". Even if they might had slacked around napping in multi-storey carparks on the duller days of their service. -

Why wait for policemen to come catch snake when it might be more profitable if we do the eat snake ourselves?
