I would be curious to know the details of this case.Originally posted by er_liang89:Sometimes when I call the police to settle some cases with my neighbour, they always pushes the responsibility to the town council, even when there is a fight outside my house
yes it becomes a non issue....Originally posted by huaiwei:Seem like a contradiction to me. First you said police officers can only eat during their assigned "breaks".
Then you say you have an issue with officers eating at coffeeshops during their assigned "breaks".
So just how many issues do you have with police officers?
It becomes a non issue now? I am getting confused....Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:yes it becomes a non issue....
wad are you saying?
read wat u posted...Originally posted by huaiwei:It becomes a non issue now? I am getting confused....
yes, for me...Originally posted by huaiwei:So if an officer eats at a coffeeshop during his "break", does it become a non issue?
What are you talking about - Policeman cannot eat at coffeeshops ?Originally posted by huaiwei:So if an officer eats at a coffeeshop during his "break", does it become a non issue?
I was actually fielding that exact question to someone above, so I doubt I am implying anything. On the contrary, our friend above seems to think its true, so perhaps you might wish to direct your comments to him.Originally posted by MobyDog:What are you talking about - Policeman cannot eat at coffeeshops ?
I usually dont get confused by what I post myself, so I doubt doing the above will accomplish much.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:read wat u posted...
Yeah we already know. Repeating your answer dosent take the irony out of it thou.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:yes, for me...
Heh maybe all officers irrespective of their status should try doing the same. It would probably makes things so much more pleasant for everyone!Originally posted by MobyDog:For me, I always declare to the world that I am a reservist (when I'm doing something unpolice expected) , and you can actually see the member of public, the facial expression relaxed and a knowing understanding nod and smile.. forgiven - carry on doing whatever you're doing
May i ask? what is your purpose of posting this i really wonders...Originally posted by Texcoco II:"I actually had the liberty of spotting many incidents of patrol cars hiding in the middle of two trailers at big heavy vehicle carparks.
Once I drove close to them, saw one asleep with seat lowered while the other was smoking outside the vehicle, on a lookout. Once he spotted my vehicle, he hid his cigar.
I wanted to snap some photos of their lazyiness but how? They could have charged me for whatever fucked up reason. Afterall, its TWO ****** against two citizens, me and my ex-wife. They would have made things diffcult for us by demanding to know why we were there in the first place.
Trust me, even in DAYTIME, I have seen patrol cars parked at the highest floor of Multi-storey carparks and sleeping."

pls...... you are most welcome to do so...Originally posted by latterrain:I agreed with you.
I saw them various times in places like carparks, where they will hide in between buses. I am not sure whether their HQ knnew what they are doing.
Can we report them
well vic,Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Chey.....I tot it was a real subject to discuss eating snakes.
Guess its just another complaint by members of 'public' with very 'civic minds'
Guess I need to look somewhere for informations on how to really catch a snake and eating.
I was told by SAF Commandoes that its really highly nutritious and very very good for real MAN.

bro moby,Originally posted by MobyDog:What are you talking about - Policeman cannot eat at coffeeshops ?
While serving reservist, while covering WTO, many years ago. During the meal break, I had nowhere to hide and the food suppied are soggy KFC. I and my partner simply went into a posh restaurant opposite Raffles in full uniform, sat on a table and had our meals... what's wrong. Policeman must hide in a dark alley to eat... ahh .. so bad.
It might have drawn some attention.. but police are not presented as human ah.."Zen bu de guang".
Of course, for my case, I simply said aloud that I am a reservist.. and wala, the other curious diners.. simply gave the usual smile and nod, and didn't bother us any more..
