Do I stands a Chance in entering SPF?

y don't u join the VSC? i'm oso an ITE student and vsc also.

VSC is a part time job only right? i want police as my full time job and concentrate on it. i dont wan to do double job.

u can try apply......good that u are optimistic, but I will advise u to finish ur course. SPF views certificate seriously, unless u want to stuck in your rank for very long time, advise u to study more.
When I first get in, I saw the way they treat graduates I regretted not studying more.
High Nitec cert will get u better pay. -
yea.. i understand that if i get a better qualification then enter SPF is better, and everyone here is helping me so that i have better benefit and opportunities.. but i just dont know why i have a urge to become a police. i really hope to become police. I dont want to spend few more years studying then i can enter SPF. Not that i dont like to study, but actually, for now, there is really no courses that i am interested in that i can qualify for. and i have prepared that after i join SPF, i will continue with part time dip course in SPF, the Diploma in Management and Police Studies, then if can, i will advance to advance dip, then degree. even if i lose the police job, i still can find other job with this diploma or degree i guess? Can?? will this dip or degree in SPF be regconised by other company? or even i can become a lawyer with the degree since it is some sort related to law course i guess?

what is ur aim/goal?
btw, it is not easy to get your studies sponsored by police force. It is reserved for the more senior sergeants. somemore it is not easy to juggle between work and studies.
And 'O' levels will probably take u to staff sergeant....and then stuck all the way....u have to be street smart in spf....not that easy...and trust me...your cert counts a lot...
u cannot use the police degree to become a lawyer...mebbe join a security firm or wat
think abt it. this decision will affect u for the next 3 yrs.....mebbe more if u decide to stay on. -

Since i have decide to become a police, i will try my very best to not disappoint myself and others. I have told a lot of ppl that i will do my best and not regret if i become Police, hehe, so no matter wad, i will do my best, if not i am not trust worthy anymore.. lol

one thing to note: the best bet for u to continue study is office hours staff...
if u managed to get in....after one yr pester the manpower officer for office hrs... -

oh~... is ok for me... rank high or low, or salary high or low it doesnt really matter.. i just hope to enjoy what a police can do.. besides paperwork, like catch thief,fight gangsterism,investigate crime all this~

I know what to do and what not to do~ If i become police, i will only do what is ordered.

policeman not powerful....remember....u are a govt "servant"....even prisoners ur customer....

haha.. ok, if i have the chance.. but its really abit weird talking serious to him.. we dont talk much, the most laugh at each other for nothing, scold him for nothing and we quarrel a lot~ but that was last time. what i can say is, we seldom meet.. i wake up he sleeping, he come back from work, i am asleep~

Btw, if i join VSC, i will still need to undergo training all this right? i can still carry on with my other full time job or studies right?
