  They make such a big hoo-ha out of it yet i hardly see any police officers armed with it.

  I think a PO recently nailed a suspect with it... the first ever use of the Taser in Singapore.

  Implementing something system wide takes sometime. Logistics and training also takes time. Hope someone can explain better. I think there is a thread abt tasers also, can go dig up.

  POs are equipped with guns, yet it is hardly used unless necessary. The same goes with Taser.

  "hardly see" doesn't mean don't have. Bt Merah East NPC and Geylang NPC kickstarted the "arming of Taser". Soon it'll spread forcewide. Better be careful. You might be TASER-ED!

  Eh, not sure abt how u define range. But a taser's range is definately better than a pepper spray can..

  You are wrong, the effect of pepper spray is bearable, but for taser, its not, even a STAR personal wont be able to stand for 3seconds before he is on his knees. So think again, pepper spray only attack the contact point, as for taser, it shock the whole person. If u let me choose between pepper spray and CS spray, i would perfer CS. Read out more about CS, Pepper spray and know would understand what i am saying
