Then dun be VSC lor... It's not going to be your career anyway (i assume), and besides there are lots of other ways to volunteer to help out in society.Originally posted by marcteng:I tried to join VSC last year and went to Police Cantonment Complex for an interview, but was unsuccessful.
I have no criminal record, but I have a bad record in NS, conduct was only satisfactory.

Any remunerations?
I believe that you should not put all of them down just because of a few. Not all VSC are like that.Originally posted by joe_alvin:However, VSC only have their "so called" authority at night when they are on duty. One of my colleauges once on duty with a few VSC complains that they do not know how to perform their duties and only know how to act "on" only. (THis is only what My friends comment) Luckily, I never team up with any of the VSC guys before. Heng..........

Not surprising.....I've also known a lot of POs who didnt know their duties and only know how to act only.Originally posted by joe_alvin:What remunerations do you expect??? From what you described, you have not worked with them before. So why are you putting up 'harmless comment' you have totally no understanding of?Originally posted by joe_alvin:I am wondering have you ever work with them before!! I feel that there is nothing wrong to give a harmless comment. Anyway, is ok... small kid.
What are you talking about. Please try to understand everything first before you add on some comments. Sometimes, its not about how old or young you are. Its about how experienced of knowledgeable you are.
.........A old frog in a well, the rest I believe you get the picture.....
Maybe then you can try to explain so that I would really 'understand' what you are talking about?Originally posted by joe_alvin:What remunerations do you expect??? Thank you Deunamist. There was really a more fair and understandable comment.Originally posted by Deunamist:All also wear the same blue uniform...
So let's try to compromise. There are surely some blur chaps in the Force, regardless whether regular, PNS, VSC or VC.
