is a Warning considered as a Criminal record?

  just to clarify with you guys...
  
  I was issued a warning 3 years ago because I was caught for gang robbery and rioting (1 case), they issued me a warning while many of my friends went to RTC and probation as they were involve in more then 1 case. I wasn't charged in court just given a warning. I was young back then, only 16.
  
  So do I have a criminal record? I have trouble filling up recruitment forms...

  criminal record = charge in court and sentence for some sort of punishment.

  From what the others said, sounds like you don't have a criminal record.
  
  You are indeed very lucky. It's like a blessing from heaven that you were given a 2nd chance or else your would have had no future for the entire life. Treasure it.

  This reminds me of the rooftop confrontation scene in Wu Jian Dao (Infernal Affairs), where Andy Lau asked Leung Chiu Wai:

  I think you most likely will have a problem signing on as a police officer.... but no harm trying right? if rejected then treat it as you are not accepted... there are people that kept on trying for a year, as they are very interested in joining the SPF....
  
  but you have to remember, by not having a record doesnt mean you did not do the act before.... i hope you get what i mean... cos somewhere, somehow there will still be a record of what you have done, like a personal file tag to you, unless you did not even commit any offence in you whole life...
