my fren was very angry and wan called the police.. so what can the police do about it? -

Yeah agreed. I think there is really nothing much the cops can do about it. Firstly, he has committed no crime, he only just phrased a lewd question to the individual in question. Of course, if you friend really wants to take matters to the extreme, she can sue him for outraging of modesty and even defamation, but it's a far shot though, especially when it happended online where one's identity is ambiguious.
Anyway, as most of the guys have pointed out, majority of the guys in chat rooms, some way on another, have motives of a perversed nature. So, if your friend is against this sort of harassment, she should stop patronizing such chats. -
If your friend is so easily riled up, tell her not to go to these chat rooms.

internet tips.. surf smartly and dont talk to strangers if so just follow the simple points.. strangers are ok just not perverts

If you want you can make a report and proceed with your own civil actions against the person.. IF you know who the hell he is in the first place..
or if you want.. take a gunny sack, wait for him to come out of his lift, cover him and beat the shit out of him, this is recommended... -

You should see my inbox. i still keep the conversations of one such guy on this forum that thankfully, ain't as stupid when he finally uses the right head to think and type.
But then.......it wasn't so difficult to track him down and administer the gunny sack treatment if i have to.
But then......its quite a waste of time and resources.....I will however keep his identity for when I am really free and bored and do the above when I comes to it. -

If she really feels like she need someone to talk to and discuss, can always get her to pm me and we can talk out the frustration.
And in other chat rooms, even the guys gets this kind of questions from guys and girls.
Guys thinking with their smaller heads usually aren't very bright. And the internet ambiguity just seems to bring out the dimness in them more easily.
So good luck and try to treat it as meeting all kinds of people in an ultra condensed time.

well, there was once i was talking with this girl from Toronto online and she was flirting with me and asking me to talk dirty to her, I didnt know how I was supposed to do that but I played along anyways. then all of a sudden she said "I turn into officer jessica brady of the Toronto police and arrests the.raven for sexual harassment" damn I remember the exact words she said even tho it was a few years ago cuz it was so funny I was like "huh?" and she said she was pretending to flirt so that she would lure out "internet predators" like me. it was so funny. turns out that she was a 17 year old who wanted to join the Toronto police force when she is older.
