Should i be in SC or VC?

  Hey... normally if a person has a O'level cert with all 8 subjects pass and later went to Australia for college studies will be in the SC right?
  
  But when i receive my letter... it wrote that my starting rank is VC and my pay is $350... does this mean that i will be in the VC course instead of the SC course?
  
  Should i ask them whether i can be upgraded to SC? How should i ask them?

  Huh?? when was that? But why is my initial rank that is writing on my enlistment letter VC? I am enlisting on 13 sep 2005 for NS... should i inform them about my current education level?

  Hi There
  
  VC still exists. U may be considered upgraded to SC upon enlistment and based on your performance.
  
  FYI, some SCs were dowgraded to VCs.

  check with your pns dept, i studied in aust too and im an nspi

  Oh no, i'm not.. btw, i suppose as an NSPI you're doing staffwork right? Am wondering how different is your NSPI training from the regular c-course?

  well some nspi's ruin it for the rest of us nice ones haha...
  
  yeah i do staffwork, c-course training spends more time on cpc and invest work, some of their exams are marked by external people as well,

  How come NSPIs only do staff work? What do you do when you come back for reservists? More staff work?

  My colleague who's a NSPI says he goes back and does nothing. It's like a holiday for him.

  NSI can be posted to KINS to perform their reservist. For NSI who went back to Division to do staff work, you are considered very lucky.
