Volunteer Special Constabulary

  Anyone here in Volunteer Special Constabulary as a Senior Officer?
  
  Can provide comments on the following:
  - Why Snr officers served more than Jnr officers?
  - VSC needs to do IPPT & Marksmanship?
  - What are the typical assignments?

  I am not a SO. Does it means I shouldnt answer you?
  
  1) Not necessary so.
  2) Yes.
  3) From patrols, trainings, audits, accounting, co-ordinations to staff work. Depending on what you are good at.

  must wear uniform or plain clothes.... what happens if fail IPPT or Shooting?
  
  how about if can't do VSC for a mth due to work or overseas?

  Both options are opened to VSC. Depending on capability, availability and necessity.
  
  Hard to fail IPPT or Shooting with the VSC. Fail IPPT, still can serve, fail shooting, cannot draw arms only. But still can serve.
  
  VSC requires minimum 16 hours per month commitment, if unable to clock hours for that month, officers are required to inform and apply for leave for that month.

  apply leave from volunteer work... lol....

  Well, like any uniformed organisation. Its a formality that showcase your commitment and oath for your affliation.
  
  fitness is not dependant on your physical state.

  16hr easy to clock, just do 2x0.75 shift can liao.... morning shift do all, night shift do til midnight then return arm go bk sleep....there u go ! 16 hrs.....
  
  or every friday night do night shift, 4x4 also 16 liao...there u go again !
