a sssgt with red tab scolding someone ' stupid b l o o d y i d i o t ' just because the person smiled . Apparantly, he kept on calling the person names causing him embarrassement and pride to fall.
i personally feel that, he tinks by inducing fear into the trainees/cadets will get them to be submissive towards him. However, they would even hate him more.
i feel that he should inspire and motivate them instead of calling names of the person. he may be a legend in the past, but this is the new generation he should use different methods.
what do u guys think?

If the mentioned officer is a regular... so i can only tell you, if whoever is not happy with whoever, just go ahead and lodge a complain ok?
it doesnt works last time but i works now....
different leaders have different ways of leading, so not all people can follow... some ways are efficient, some are not..... you might be leader one day, if you can manage to make ALL your man happy, then you can call yourself a good leader ok?

cos once you becomes a police officer, you will meet all kinds of weird pple out there. believe me, there are lots of pple, think they are bigger than anything.
some will just insult you or even get physical with you. so tat person will to encounter members of public scolding, insulting him, n he cun take it..then how? commit suicide? -

It's not the right way.
But it's neither chargable against the SSSgt.

imagine if the officer treat his man very nicely. Do you think they will ever respect him?
I made the same mistake when I was a trainer, I was kick, shouted , and beat up by my officers so I told myself the day I become one I will never be like them
When I was given my first batch of trainee I treat them very nicely, in the end they disrespect me cos they believe I was the easy type can bully one. I was darn piss off but I could no longer gain any respect from them.
From that day on I totally wack anyone who is under my command. Finally understand that in order to gain respect you must be strict or else no one will give a darn about you.
You are not an officer so I understand from your point of view that you think is hash, but when the day comes when you have to train your batch of trainees, you will understand wat i mean. -
like that also cannot.
police like SAF , also trains recruits or trainees in same manner, push to the limit.
if not how to handle excessive public, gangster, criminals scoldings and intimidation and arguments.
you don;t expect to be weak when given the power of authority.
what happens if officers not properly trains cry when scolded by public or go mad when call stupid and wack people. -
want to become cadet but afraid of the discipline training.
its comes with the package.
he should join those that dance around in flashy costume. that one no need this kind of discipline.
if go NS in SAF tekong sure cry mummy first day. -
