Did some nagging finally got into the heads of the new grads not to stage any time consuming skits, fashion shows, scathing final words to 'suan' their instructors or last minute antics with their hair, uniforms and bikini bras or anything 'spectacular' just to grab the attentions of the SOs at the grads?
Did the W/trainnee recover from her hurt wrist and her disappointment that the instructors did not shower her with attention for her 'hurt wrist'?
And whats this chalet thingy rumour that was floating around every division where it was expressed-DEDly insisted that there shouldn't be such activities involving any instructors, VSC officers per se while trainees are still in training?
I didnt know my hearing was that wrong to have heard wrongly the instructions and commands by both Cmmdrs and Officers during the orientation as well as during occasional conversations.....But do correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah.....newbies in the VSCs. I am sooo thrillled.
To fellow VSC Riz.....u are right. I am too corky for my own good.
But then.......what do I care, it just meant more work for some other people to discharge more fellas.......You should see someone else's cabinent now. them files are already reaching new heights

every year, same same stuffs happens with every intake. Lets hope there will finally be some changes with the new Commandant VSC.

the class 3 (4x4) course was recently cancelled.
Can we have the schedule as to when it will be conducted again?
And what is the criteria to be selected for the interview?
Why was certain officers bypassed from the interview in favour of other officers?
And why was certain newbies sent for Intermediate courses when there was 'a long list of waiting officers'? -
And here's a support for a fellow VSC that was just dragged thru hell.
there is politics everywhere, there is always fellas who cannot tolerate your capabilities and your success.
there will forever be male officers, trainees, newbies & weirdos that will try to put you down so that they can satisfy their own ego at their capabilities at causing you harm.
Cheer up.

You are not alone, there is multiple precedent VSCs before you with the same troubles.
We may hate your guts and your ego. But we wouldnt want to lose a good VSC like you.
I can defend your situation because we have worked together and I do know your style as well as some of the psch of some folks that has been prevalent since donkey years ago.
Time for you to step back and shake off your baggage and carry on. -

Female officers, female trainees be warned.
there are some VSC officers that love to chat up with female officers, trainees or would be trainees.
If they do get your contact numbers and contacted you for outings, movies & dinners or simply a chit chat not of the official nature.
You have the right to say no.
Dont just go out becos
a) they are officers,
b) they say they have something to discuss with you
c) they like you.
Especially if you are un-sure about them. Check with your other seniors and make sure there is at least another officer present if it was meant to be a discussion about police or training matters. And avoid late nights or alone time with him/them. -

Those keen to attend the course is required to re-submit their nomination form, duly signed by their Heads along with your DIPS record and hands to AI(V) Thomas Ansari latest at TRACOM VSC office on 10 Nov 05 where they are conducting the interview.
Please turn up in Full Uniform, including head dress and shining polished shoes for the interview, no later then 1900 hours.
Please take note of the following:
1) Nomination forms for the above course, duly signed by heads
2) Your current DIPS record (*Important!)
3) Full Uniform with headdress
4) TRACOM VSC office
5) AI(V) Thomas Ansari
6) Time: 1900 hours
7) Date: 10 Nov 05 (Thurs) You commitment to attend the course on the 14,15 or 16th of Nov 05.
9) Subject to cancellation or postponement.

Don't be agitated or affected by those politicians. Keep cool and you'll fly high. Remember, time will tell the truth. Believed that you know me well and how I was victimised during Tong's era for donkey years. Let's carry and serve our duties as an VSC! I am sorry, but why is this thread reading like a personal blog and introducing politics and obviously private and sensitive information? If there is a message to be put across, I am sure it could be done in a wiser manner.
And this has nothing to do with how long someone has served with the VSC. It speaks volumes on your own upbringing and personal integrity.
I have nothing to do with whatever politics is being played out for all to see here (albeit with an obvious one-sidedness), and I simply do not care what "bullying" of whatever some of you get. What I care, is I just do what I can to meet my objectives, which could be anything as micro as helping my regular collegues go on their leaves by doing full shifts for them, or as macro is changing the image of VSCs overall and their contributions to Singapore's security matters.
Politics may be present in any human organisation, but it saddens me when this kind of politics engulf members of a volunteer organisation. Take it, or leave it. No one is forcing anyone here. -

In any organisation.
Upon a death, and the disappointment for handling such death. There will be multiple resignations and low morale.
And due to the dangers, there will again surface excuses for desertion.
Fellow VSC are advised to brace themself and if required, do talk to qualified personnels to work out their options thoroughly. -

So after basically insinuating that others have lousy upbringing and calling everyone else names, do you have the intention to call each and everyone of their mothers too? Unless of you course you feel you are completely innocent and does no such thing. If so, then thats just too bad.
