liverpool played alright, but man utd played better.
this game is about of skills and determination.
given that the reds cannot match man to man in term of football skills, particularly in passing, yet show inferior determination, they should not win.
the reds were less composed and did not capitalised on the nervy performances by van de saar. they were deservingly punished.
given that man utd players were more enthusiastic in wanting to win, they should have the three points. -
That is "hunger" element that Liverpool players lacked.
Official reason could be they drunk too much french wine in Marseille.
To be BPL champion, we need to beat Man Utd with ease.
We are still not there yet.
Please send a tonne of cotton wool to my work place tomorrow.

IMO i think Poll played really well, and this match cud have gone either way right from the beginning. Quite a num of times when i was really on the edge of my seat. they were controlling play es in the 2nd half. It's just their final ball and very prone to counter attack. Rooney could have made it 2-0 , after united 1st got hold of the ball in their own half. but yea good match

i dun think the manu fans here r saints either. look at the topics in EPL forum. every news r negative remarks, dirts, toward other clubs except manu.

How many times does Benitez needs to be defeated by the same way before he realised that ZONE marking DONT work on Man U? Zone marking might work for European teams but not EPL teams!
How many times we lost from corners? Does Benitez ever look at replays?
It does not matter who he bring in to the club, if he insists on his weird ways of playing. Why start with pai kah Kewell? That's a sick chicken who hardly play. Why not start with Babel?

Ah Ben was right to start with Kengster as he have more experience and can add a defensive element to the left flank.
He also link up well with Torres. (Cannot believe I am saying good thing for Mr Keng)
Babel is more suited for a substitute as he have pace to burn but not too good at retaining possession.
If he can fun-tune his shooting accuracy, we will have another weapon.
To played a unchanged team is to show the rest of the players that if you played good, you retain your place.
That is what the rotation policy should be about.
But, the flaw of this reward system is that your players may be tired out.
The Liverpool team played well in holding up all the attacks from Man Utd.
But, their sharpness in front of goal requires lots of sharpening.
The major weakness of Liverpool is when they pushed forward, they LEAVE A VERY BIG GAP for the opponent to lodge a long ball attack.
So, I hope Ah Ben can sit down and watched the match again to improve.
From here, then we can become a better team.
I give credits when it is due.
Although we lost, we lost not because we are weak, we lost cos we still need to improve.
Liverpool can do it cos they have die-hard fans behind them through all these years of triumph and crashes. -

Liverpool has always lack imagination upfront in recent times. They need a vision man, and Gerrard is not it, in fact Liverpool has none. They move well and close up the spaces well but when they arrived, they are like lost lambs.
Liverpool comes a pauper, time and time again. The Liverpool character has been missing for a long time. Maybe it's time to join the likes of Nottingham Forest...into oblivion...for the good of football. It is better to kill off the misery now rather than witnessing heartaches after heartaches.
I am a longtime Liverpool fan, but Liverpool of today just do not rekindle the fire of yore. -

We made one , and got paid for it !
MU simply flawless .... A great asset of a great team .
Our boyz did fairly well , only one mistake , that one bloody mistake that cost us the game .
Who would imagine the corner would have slid towards centering ?
It's a well rehearse corner ..... a well positioned rehearsal ., a training ground set-pieces . All credit to their imaginations .
Rooney were at the right place , and Tevez in the right time .

Charlton were our jinx team at the beginning of the 2000 .
Luton Town were our jinx team during the 90's .
Football is a funny old game .
We can beat one champion after another .... but can be beaten by a same minnow year-in year-out .

They know that their team is strong enough so what is there to make noise ?
As for true Liverpool fan, they need a strong heart cos supporting Liverpool is a combination of Haunted House and Roller Coaster Ride.
Liverpool is too much full of surprises and shock.
But, they are slowly and steadily improving.
Maybe Ah Ben should borrow some hair dryer training from Alex. -
