kuyt' debut....what d'ya think?

dirk added a whole new dimension of play for liverpool. he can pass, create opening beside scoring goal. there is now a lot more urgency in liverpool's frontline.
he played extremely well tonight...i like very much what i see

I only see two person with urgency tonight.
Bellamy and Kuyt.
The rest of the Liverpool players are pretty relaxed and bo chap. -
He had a very good debut and a very good attitude as a Liverpool player and runs and plays like he is proud of that shirt. lets hope he keeps it up and seriously one of the reasons we bought him is becos of his excellent scoring record in Holland, 70+ goals in 100 games. So we would like to really see him getting into action at the goalmouth...we need a goalscorer not just a runner and goalmaker. That we have many liao.

i rate him 8.5/10 many runs and shot. have a good work rate. just gotta find his touch of finishing tts all i can say! bellamy's acceleration is damn fast la!

The boys had been trying very hard to create goals for him .
Overall , a good debut , remember he tried a shot on goal with his very first touch , he's trying too hard.

Showed good confidence despite being his debut in Anfield. Showed good awareness around him in the attacking third too.
The commentator added that Gerrard and Kuyt had good understanding on the field and yes, I do agree wif that. The linkups and passing between them was good. -
Kuyt seemed to me like the time when Robbie Fowler was younger. Got the football intelligence and the tenacity etc.
Still, he needs to be playing on a more consistent basis and also get the goals coming before he can confirm his true value. Otherwise, if Rafa keep rotating, he on form will become off-form.
I always believe that Kuyt is a good player and I hope to see that he will perform like other famous Dutchmen in the EPL. -
