  hmm..kinda. once i was late for dinner during my trip to bandung and i was ruin the whole night by throwing up almost every hour, so my friends had to keep awake to take care of me. thank god i have nice friends..
  
  i want to come, just still dunno when.. if i just know this forum a little sooner, i would be able to meet you all during my trip last dec.

  i'm not a good swimmer, only can swim freestyle and back style (i dunno wad's the right word for this style.. is there any back style ? we called it "gaya punggung" here. punggung = back).

  my swimming was during my secondary school days.....hehe, not never swim liao. dunno leh, i juz eat a lot when i got teh appetite, but when i got no appetite, i cam go w/o eating. i will put on weight one.

  i can't do freestyle, nor backstroke.. used to be able to do freestyle.. but have totally forgotten about it already.. only can do breaststroke now
  i think you condition sound terrible.. should bcos of "stomach wind".. it usually happens bcos of skipping meals..

  oh maya, forgot to ans you. its call freestyle, backstroke, breast-stroke and butterfly. 4 different styles. hehe.

  breaststroke.. we called it "gaya katak" here. katak means frog. i was really terrible with that style.
  
  no lar. it was my first visit to sg, but quite long (abt a week). my mates said i'd be bored to death spending a week in sg. but.. i enjoy every single days when i was there. i got friends and if they couldn't take me out, i'd go out alone (even once got lost ..he..he..).

  i've only been to indonesia once.. and it's not the main islands.. went to bintan for a retreat.. enjoyed karting while we were that..
  
  i have a friend who has indonesian background.. her family is very closely knitted.. that's what i like about indonesian families.. nice and warm.. there was once at a restaurant, i saw a large group of indonesian kids celebrating someones birthday.. can see they totally enjoyed themselves and can feel the warmness between them..very different from singapore kids..

  try bali & lombok. bautiful. u can do loadsa outdoor activities and photography. i still want to climb mt. rinjani in lombok.

  the problem with the kids.. maybe in here kids have loadsa time to play with one another (and not only playing with comp. games / playstation) than in sg. so usually they are quite close to one another.

  mt. rinjani is abt. 3.600 mdpl. it's very popular. it has a beautiful lake. what mountains have you climbed before ?
  i've been to mt. kerinci (3.805 mdpl), it's the second highest mt. in indonesia. i was really glad that i had that chance.

  not too bad.. it's in the innards of the building.. may try to convince the department to send me to a driving course.. get class 4 and 5 truck license
  
  there's a huge truck of equipment i'm in charge of at the cargo section.. and i would like to be able to drive it

  i've been to mostly malaysian mountains.. gunung ophir (few times), kinabalu (twice).. berkilah (just a waterfall).. in the army, climbed some in brunei

  how high is those mountains ? usually took how many days for one journey ? i want to climb kinabalu, how's the track ? issit hard ?
  
  abt the fierce monkeys that's true. whether it's dirty or not .. i haven't climb there. perhaps yeah.. i hate those climbers who throw the garbage in mountains. so irresponsible..

  yesterday i was at my new workplace.. i started working shift yesterday
