Pes C modified BMT is 4 weeks in tekong right? If due to an illness a specialist gave me 2 weeks mc, and I miss 2 weeks worth of training, will I have to recourse even though it's a valid medical reason?
Hello can I request for help here?
I was enlisted under mono-intake as a commando recruit but due to a long term status which I only managed to clear the status with the specialist 2 weeks after the status was issued, I was posted out of the commando formation and now being posted to Nee Soon Camp as a Combat Medic.
May I ask if it's possible to request for a BMT recourse at Tekong?
I enlisted under the enhanced batch in February 2015 and is it possible that I join the May enhanced batch for their enlistment?

just hope you are still reading, pass IFC & BTP at Tekong means no need recourse, otherwise you need recourse

you will join the recourse batch, speak to S1/MPO for it ... only S1/MP Branch can request for a recourse, pending CO approval and CPC assent
Hi guys. Pes c ooc from BMT recently. Currently on mc and was told to report to a bmtc hq after mc. May I know if I will be posted to hq permanently or am I just waiting there to join the next BMT batch?

When that happened to me I had to just wait there while they found a posting for me. So
The end result of an OOC really depends on the enciks and regular officers who happen to work with you while you are a soldier in transit (SIT). If they "enjoy" having your services around their workplaces, they can always recommend you to be posted as their personal assistant, HQ assistant etc. Usually if no change in your PES status, and you havent POP/POC, they would get you to join the next available BMT batch to make sure you dont ORD as recruit or private.
OOC ? All you need to do is go for field camp. Nothing else is important #TRUTH
Not necessarily, I was in the enhanced batch for tekong on '05. I was on MC like 2 weeks and still passed BMT.
to OP, it depends on what u missed during the 2 weeks. certain events like field camp, sit test, range shooting and 24k route march are compulsory to pass BMT. if they can be rearranged (usually means that you will be attached out to another company) you may still pass, else you will not clear your BMT. i don't think you will recourse. most likely, u'll just be posted to an admin or logistics position
Yeah OP most likely you'll just get downpesed
Hi all, sorry to hijack this forum.
I'm currently in the PTP/BMT batch that is enlisted to a mono intake armor infantry unit. However due to spine injuries, I have been on light duty and excuse RMJ since the first week of PTP and my status is ending in February while my pop is on March 9th. I currently in PES A, and if my PES status gets downgraded, will I have to recourse my PTP and BMT again?
Thanks in advance for the helpful replies!

Hello.. new here..
If i got MC .. and that is for a day for some sort of briefing.. Do i need to go endorse? And how shall i endorse? Call my unit?

OOC is only for serious injury. I don't think that MC will cause OOC.
Q1. How can a serviceman be put OOT?
A1. There are two reasons how a serviceman can be put OOT- medical reasons (training
or non-training injury) or disciplinary grounds.
Q2. What are the administration required prior to OOT-ing?
A2. The Medical Officer (MO) and the Officer Commanding (OC) are required to
complete the OOT form and endorsed by the Commanding Officer (CO) and forward to
Recruit Management before it can be processed. CPC will then be informed and the
posting will take effect within a fortnight.
