Hi folks, I was previously diagnosed with tuberculosis and treated subsequently for 6 months before enlistment. While I am cured, I suffer from pleuritic pain whenever I exert myself e.g running. I went to a lung specialist regarding this and after an xray and ct scan, I was told that this chest pain will be permenant as my lung lining is damaged due to tb.
However, the mo told me they will not accept pain as a reason to act on my case because pain is subjective even though the mo is aware the pain is permenent for life and its affecting my training. Does anyone have a similar experience or advice for me?
As usual, please refer to this guideline:

Simple, simply request the hospital specialist to write a strongly-worded memo for it.
My specialist memo wrote that I suffer from pleuritic chest pain when I exert myself. Should I go back to my specialist to write a more comprehensive memo including his recommended excuses?
